Applications

Steel making: Low-resistance graphite electrodes are used widely in steel making furnaces and where they are used to melt scrap metal and other raw materials to produce high-quality steel.

Aluminum smelting: Graphite electrodes with low resistance are also used in aluminum smelting furnaces and where they are used to conduct electricity and generate the high temperatures needed to melt and refine aluminum.

Copper smelting: Low-resistance graphite electrodes are used in copper smelting furnaces,too, where they facilitate the melting and refining of copper and other metals.

Iron smelting: During the process of iron smelting, low-resistance graphite electrodes are used to make molten iron from iron ore.
