Applications

Melting of raw materials: Electric arc furnaces use graphite electrodes to conduct electrical current by the furnace to produce heat, which melts the raw materials. They are the primary source of heat in furnace and take an important role in melting raw materials.

Refining the molten steel: After raw materials melting, the molten steel needs to be refined to clear up impurities and get the desired chemical composition. They also used to adjust temperature and chemistry of the molten steel to achieve the excellent quality.

Ladle furnaces: After steel refined, they often transported to ladle furnaces for further refining and treatment. They are used to heat and maintain the temperature of the molten steel in ladle furnaces.
