UHP graphite electrode for titanium dioxide production

UHP (ultra-high power) graphite electrodes are commonly used in various high-temperature industrial applications. One of the applications of UHP graphite electrodes is in the production of titanium dioxide, which is a white pigment used in paints, coatings, plastics, and paper.

During the production process of titanium dioxide, UHP graphite electrodes are used in a furnace to generate the high temperature required to melt the raw materials. The electrodes are immersed in the molten materials and an electric current is passed through them, which generates heat through resistance. This heat is then transferred to the raw materials, causing them to melt and react to form titanium dioxide.
