Graphitized calcined petroleum coke is a high-quality carbon material made by calcining and graphitizing petroleum coke. It is a by-product of the refining of crude oil and its mainly component is carbon. Calcining means heating the petroleum coke to eliminate moisture and volatile organic compounds, and graphitization means heating at high temperatures (up to 3000°C) to transform the amorphous carbon into a crystalline graphite form.
The scope of use graphitized calcined is very range,such as:steel making, aluminum, titanium dioxide and so on.It can be used to increase carbon content and improve the physical and chemical properties of the final product. Meanwhile, it is also be used as an anode material when produce aluminum and other metals.
