Low Resistance Graphite Electrode
The low-resistance graphite electrodes produced by Xinhui Carbon are made of high-quality low-ash materials such as petroleum coke, needle coke, and coal pitch. After calcination, batching, kneading, forming, baking, pressure impregnation, graphitization, and then precision machining with professional CNC machining.
Low-resistance graphite electrode joint is a key component of graphite electrode products. It has good electrical conductivity, high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, and thermal shock resistance. It is located at the junction of two electrodes. When current passes, if The electrical conductivity of the connector is not good, it is easy to cause the local temperature to be too high, and produce a large thermal shock impact, which causes the electrode to break and fall off at the connection. Therefore, higher requirements are put forward on the quality of the electrode joint, especially its electrical conductivity. Resistivity is a physical quantity reflecting the level of its electrical conductivity, and it is also an important criterion for judging the quality of graphite electrode joints.
