Applications
Steel production: When produce steel graphite electrodes are widely used in foundries.The electrodes are used to melt scrap metal, pig iron, and other raw materials to yield molten steel that can be poured into molds to produce steel castings.
Iron casting: Graphite electrodes are also used in foundries while produce iron castings. The electrodes are used to melt iron scrap and pig iron and which are then poured into molds to offer many kinds of iron products, engine blocks, brake rotors, and other components included.
Aluminum casting: During the process of aluminum castings,graphite electrodes are used in foundries. The electrodes provide electrical conductivity and produce high temperatures required to melt aluminum scrap and other raw materials.
Brass and bronze casting: While produce brass and bronze castings, graphite electrodes are used in foundries and which are then poured into molds to produce various products, such as plumbing fixtures, musical instruments, and decorative items.
