It's known that three-quarters of the upcoming global steel capacity is located in Asia. The studies showed that there is 55 percent from China and India. With China and India holding the majority of the developments, the BF-BOF steel melting route is needed to improve in Asia as well. Looking at the share of upcoming BF-BOF capacity, India has a share of 40 per cent. However, it only holds 5 per cent on the operating BF-BOF compared to 49 per cent of the capacity in China. The goal of increasing EAF-based steel production to 20 per cent by 2023 has been set up by the Chinese government. In the case of Indian the majority of electric arc furnaces depends on coal-based sponge iron and steel scrap which has limited availability.

Some large steel institutions like Jindal Steel and Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel have used electric arc and conacre furnaces in India. They are starting to face the difficulties of increasing prices and the availability of relying on natural gas to produce DRI. To increase scrap usage in the production lines, they are thinking about building up scrap processing centers across the regions.

Even if there is a challenge in the gas hydrogen-based DRI and steel scrap, EAF will be widely applied to the steel production lines, which is the trend from untouchable becoming attainable. It's a great pleasure for us to take part in this tendency by providing excellent quality graphite products. Our graphite electrodes are key consumables in the EAF. With different dimensions and types, our RP, HP and UHP graphite electrodes can be used in various EAF for various purposes. As long as you have any further requests or would like to know more about the specifications of the items, you can reach me directly via email: wendy@lzxhcarbon.com. Due to the products coming out from the plants directly, you can enjoy great quality graphite products at reasonable prices.
