Graftech, a leading company in the US graphite electrode industry, recently released its operating details for the fourth quarter of 2024. Data shows that the company's graphite electrode production reached 25,100 tons, an increase of 12.93% from the previous quarter. At the same time, sales also set a new record since 2023.

Judging from the order situation, the long-term contract volume of graphite electrodes has slightly rebounded in two consecutive quarters, which indicates that the current market situation may be close to the lowest point and downstream demand is gradually recovering. It is worth mentioning that Graftech also revealed its price increase plan for 2025. For the part that has not yet signed a contract, the company expects a 15% increase.
