            Since last month, Hydnum Steel makes significant progress towards its goal of becoming an international reference project in the decarbonization of the steel industry and it will produce zero-emission steel from renewable energy and green hydrogen. From the production of green hydrogen via electrolysis to the smelting of the steel, the whole process is carried out by using renewable energy.             Normally, graphite manufacturing has high energy consumption. In the traditional way, manufacturing one ton of graphite requires very high power of energy, which is more than two households' annual energy usage. However, with the new technology in the reconditioning process, the energy consumption was reduced to less than 1% of the energy for making the brand-new electrodes from scratch. This new recycling way keeps old graphite electrodes away from being dumped in landfills causing environmental pollution, also it saves energy power on the production of new electrodes.
