What are the special characteristics of graphite electrodes?
Graphite electrode connectors are not unfamiliar to everyone. The main component is high-purity graphite, which has become the best thermal conductive material today. The price of graphite electrodes depends on their characteristics, and they must be strictly followed in the use process.
Graphite electrode: mainly made of petroleum coke and needle coke as raw materials, asphalt mastic as a fusion agent, calcined, seasoned, kneaded, pressed, baked, graphitized, and machined. It is an electric conductor that heats and melts the recycled waste in a medium frequency furnace by releasing electromagnetic energy in the form of arc. According to its quality standards, it can be divided into normal power, high power and ultra-high power. Graphite electrodes mainly include four categories: normal power graphite electrodes, anti-oxidation coated graphite electrodes, high power graphite electrodes and ultra-high power graphite electrodes.
Graphite electrodes are common in nature, and graphene is the strongest material we know of, but it may still take scientists years or even decades to find a way to convert high-purity graphite into large areas of high-quality graphene "films" that can be used to make a variety of useful materials for us. According to experts, in addition to being extremely strong, graphene also has a series of properties that make it the material with the best electrical conductivity known so far, which makes it have great application potential in microelectronics.
Graphite electrode price
Graphite electrode refers to a kind of heat-resistant high-purity graphite thermal conductive material made of petroleum coke, asphalt coke as raw materials, asphalt mastic as binder, through raw material sintering, crushing into powder, seasoning, kneading, forming, baking, pre-impregnation, graphitization and processing. It is called synthetic graphite electrode (commonly known as graphite electrode) to distinguish it from natural graphite electrode made of natural high-purity graphite as raw material.
1) The neutral wire and live wire of the graphite electrode are appropriate and in the opposite direction.
2) The scrap steel in the steel furnace is evenly distributed, and the block scrap steel is placed at the bottom of the furnace as much as possible.
3) Avoid the presence of non-conductive materials in the scrap steel.
4) The electrode column is aligned with the rotary kiln hole, and the electrode column is parallel. The edge of the rotary kiln hole should be cleaned frequently to prevent the residual slag from accumulating and breaking the graphite electrode.
5) Maintain the furnace tilting system in good condition to keep the furnace tilting stable.
6) Avoid clamping the electrode clamp at the electrode joint and the electrode connector hole.
7) Use connectors with high hardness and machining accuracy.
8) The torque released during electrode connection should be moderate.
9) Before and during the connection of graphite electrodes, prevent the electrode hole threads and connector threads from being mechanically damaged.
10) Avoid slag or dirt from entering the electrode hole and connector to affect the connection.
