Especially, our graphite electrodes have been applied to different furnaces worldwide.

 

Steel is normally made in two different furnaces, one is by using an oxygen furnace, also known as a blast furnace and the second one is by using an electric arc furnace. Electric arc furnaces are used by the steelworks industry as they allow steel to be made from 100% scrap metal. This process consumes much less energy in the production lines then steelmaking from ores. Following the features of electric arc furnaces, which are switched on or off quickly, it supports the steel mills in producing different steel grades in demand. Due to the excellent electrical conductor and high current density, graphite rods can assist the temperature in the furnaces reaching around 3000 Celsius.
