The roasting flue gas and calcining flue gas discharged from the chimney to the space contain a lot of asphalt components, and its pollution to the environment cannot be ignored. Some of the components are carcinogenic.

In this regard, it is necessary to actively prevent carbon monoxide leakage, establish special organizations, use modern monitoring instruments, and use special electric dust collection equipment. The factory flue gas should be treated before it can be discharged into the space. Strictly abide by the national and local environmental protection laws.

Carbon graphite factories must clearly know that ensuring the safety and health of employees and protecting national property are the primary tasks. In the factory, there are many volatiles, flue gas, decomposition gases, incompletely burned carbon black smoke, benzol dust, phenol, benzene, etc.
The above substances will cause poisoning symptoms when they enter the human body through the respirator tube, gastrointestinal tract, etc., so preventive measures should be taken to achieve automated operation to the greatest extent, and fully enclosed equipment should be used for operation. At present, at least ventilation and dust removal equipment should be available. Personal labor protection supplies should be checked and supervised for use.

Non-toxic dust should not be inhaled into the lungs and other organs, and excessive contact with the skin is always not allowed.

There are a lot of high-temperature gases in carbon graphite factories, and high-temperature heat radiation is harmful to employees, which is one of the causes of various diseases among employees. Calcination furnaces, roasting furnaces, graphitization furnaces, sintering furnaces, impregnation tanks, asphalt melting pools, etc., as well as hot coke and semi-finished products have intense heat radiation, which damages the thermal balance of human body tissues. If it goes on for a long time, it will also cause diseases. Therefore, the heat loss of the furnace should be reduced, and heavy labor under high temperature should be reduced.
